Tony Gibson Only the mind of Tom Daniel could come up with something like this! A master of innovation this is a funny car of a different color. As the Revell description says, “Eager to learn? Well then, how would you like to ride to school at over 190 mph (300 km/h)? You could in a dual blown fueler, with a trick chassis and the ultimate funny car body – a chopped fiberglass school bus with big spoilers built into the front fenders. It’s got to be the baddest hot rod ever.”

For the Modeler: This is the Monogram 1:24 scale Tom Daniel design S’cool Bus skill level # with approximately 100 pieces molded in yellow, metallic gray, and chrome. This kit features transparent orange/clear side and front windows molded in paper thin plastic printed with children’s faces on it and original issue box art with a tilt-up funny car body and colorful decals. It has two-piece rear drag slicks with Racemaster lettering molded in and two front no logo front tires with directional sidewalls and a great instruction sheet. The Tom Daniel S’cool bus kit was first released in the early 70s and has always been a favorite of mine.  Monogram released this kit a couple of times over the years, but now it comes back through Model King with the side windows with the scared children’s faces looking out.  I have every release of this awesome model, but have never built one so this is a first for me.  I was very excited to start.  This is one of my favorite Tom Daniel kits. The finished model’s dimensions are Length: 8″, Width: 3.25″, Height: 2.8″. Keep the glue off the windshield!  -Tony Gibson
