The car that followed the faux Daytona Spyder in the hit TV show “Miami Vice†was the very well designed Ferrari Testarosa. From what I’ve learned Ferrari had the Testarosa specially painted white just for the night scenes in the television show.
For the Modeler: This is the Revell Motor Sports Series “Miami Vice†Ferrari Testarosa in 1/25 scale. It is a skill level 2 model. This kit (#85-5251) contains 96 pieces, is molded in white, chrome, and clear parts, and has soft black vinyl tires. It also includes illustrated directions and waterslide decals. Finished dimensions are: Length: 7-5/16″, Width: 3-1/2″, Height: 1-7/8.””
