The Ferrari Scaglietti was named after Sergio Scaglietti who built the bodies for Ferrari during the post war era. The Scaglietti was shown for the very first time during the Detroit Motor Show in 2004. It has a 6 liter 12 cylinder engine developing 540hp that sits behind the front axle. It can go from 0 to 100 in 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 321 kph.
For the modeler: This is a review of the 1/24 scale Ferrari 612 Scaglietti Revell kit #07364 in the European boxing. It is Skill level: 3 kit for the advanced builder. This kit was released in 2009 and is out of production but can still found at online auction sites. The122 pieces are molded in white, chrome, clear, black vinyl tires and water slide decals. It is accompanied by very well laid out and illustrated instructions. The finished dimensions are; 7 ¾†L X 3½†W X 2¼†H.
