One of early childhood’s greatest enjoyments is when truck drivers blasts their horns when they pass by. I remember many car trips were my brothers and I had a contest to see how many truck drivers we could get to honk their horns and I laugh when I see my kids doing the same thing many years later. And for getting large deliveries of perishable goods across the country, the refrigerated Freightliner is hard to beat.
For the Modeler: This review is for the Freightliner with Trailer 1:32 Scale Revell Model Kit #85-1981. It is a Skill Level 1 SnapTite kit for the novice builder.  There are 102 pieces to this kit and very well laid out instructions.  The pieces are molded in molded in light blue, white (trailer), chrome, clear, black vinyl tires and sticker decals. The dimensions are; tractor only 9 5/8 L X 3 3/8 W X 4 5/8 H, trailer only 15 3/4L X 3 W X 5 ¼ H, tractor and trailer 21 ¾ L X 3 3/8 W X 5 ¼ H.
