1959 Chevy was the second year of production for the Chevy Impala. For 1959 the Impala was totally restyled to capture people’s attention. It still does today and is a favorite of car enthusiasts worldwide. Sporting unusual horizontal tailfins, a “vista view” roof, and dual radio antennae, it garners double takes wherever it goes. For 1959 the Impala was “longer, lower, wider” in keeping in keeping with the prevailing styling theme and it became Chevrolet’s best selling model.
