For the modeler: This review covers the 1995 release of the Tamiya Toyota Supra car sponsored by Castrol and Tom’s. This was an all-new tooling for 1995 and is still available in the Tamiya catalog under Kit #24163. This is 1/24 scale and while there is no 1a Skill Level Tamiya recommends ages 10 and over. You get close to 80 parts molded in White, Clear and Chrome. There are Rubber tires, Screen and Vinyl Tubes. The kit is a Curbside as it does not have a motor. There is a full chassis and detailed suspension. The interior is complete and fully detailed. The body has all the markings in waterslide decals and the body is a one piece unit. Overall construction is straightforward and fit and finish is tight. The Tamiya instructions include direct callouts to the paint colors for Tamiya brand paints. Overall dimensions are: Length:7½”,Width: 3-1/16”, Height: 2¼”.
