For the modeler: This review covers the re-release of the Kenworth K-100 by Revel in 1/25 scale. This is kit number 85-2513 in the current catalog and is available in most hobby shops and online stores. Revel rates this as a Skill level 5 for the more advanced builder and this kit requires glue and paint. As for the kit itself you will get 284 parts molded in 1 White, Chrome, and Clear and with Vinyl tires. The decals are Waterslide and you get the typical book format instruction sheet. Build up is done in steps and is fairly simple with the full frame being assembled, the motor and interior. The body is built and attached to the mostly completed chassis. Fit and finish on this kit is great for the age of the molds although some parts placement is iffy in the instructions. And as a side note, this is the truck style used in the Original Cartoon Version of TRANSFORMERS for Optimus Prime. Overall dimensions: Length: 10-5/8″, Width: 4-3/16″, Height: 6-1/4″.
