For the modeler: This review covers the re-release of the Revell 1984 Cadillac Lowrider in 1/25 scale. This kit has been produced in a few different forms and box arts. Revell lists this as Kit # 85-4438 in the current catalog and it is available in hobby shops and online store. This is a Skill Level 5 kit for more advanced builders and requires paint and glue for 1 assembly. There are 110 parts molded in White, Chrome and Clear and includes Vinyl tires, Screws, Metal pins and Axles. The build is straight forward and specific with no additional parts for variations of wheel choices, you only get ride height and grille choice. The motor looks nice built but is simplistic. The chassis is nicely detailed and looks good assembled. The interior is well detailed and includes an opening trunk with speakers and batteries. The body is straight with nice sharp detail and the moldings are easy to trim with foil. Decals are waterslide and include only Purple trim. You get the typical book format instruction sheet Revell is known for. Overall dimensions are: Length: 9″, Width: 3-1/2″, Height: 2-1/8″.
