For the modeler: While the box may give limited notice to the options in the box, the kit contains all the items needed to build the 1986 Indy 500 pace car that was driven by the legendary Chuck Yeager.  This review covers the ORIGINAL RELEASE of the MPC Chevrolet Corvette Roadster. This was a 3n1 kit that included Stock and Custom parts plus Indy 500 Pace Car 1 parts. This car is long out of production but can be found online easily. MPC/AMT did release this kit in other box arts and as a three car set also. The kit is 1/25 scale and I would rate it a skill level 2 for the intermediate builder. The kit has over 130 parts molded in Yellow, Chrome, Clear and Clear Red. You get two2 sets of Vinyl tires and Waterslide decals. Even after 30 years the decals were still in usable condition with only minimal yellowing.  The instruction sheet is a well detailed fold-out style. The kit build is straight-forward with the motor then chassis and interior and body. Detail is quite nice for a kit of this age and fit and finish was good. Overall construction of the car was quite nice and the kit is a solid build. Dimensions are: Length: 7”, Width: 3”, height: 2”.
