If you’ve ever wondered how a pickup truck can out perform a street burner this is an example of just how it’s done. These old school bodies are often customized with muscle carframes and hot V-8’s along with lightweight front ends and custom paint. This is a great kit any way you choose to build it. Choose your favorite colors and go at it. There’s plenty of ways to detail and alter this kit, more than shown here. The Skill Level 2 rating was right on the money.
The mid-’50 series of Ford pickups has attained classic status –at least as far as street rodders are concerned! Little did the original designers and engineers know, as they were putting their pickup truck line together, that one day those little workhorses would be customized and painted in every creative way imaginable.
